Sirata Beach Resort

August 4, 2019

St Petersburg Beach, FL

Florida has always been known for it’s beautiful beaches and Blake and I have always loved the golf side. Mostly because it’s warmer and we hate cold water lol. St Petersburg FL did not disappoint, it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed at the Sirata Beach Resort because it was the best price for an ocean front room and let’s be honest you stay at the beach for the view. When we arrived at the hotel, it was a bit outdated on the outside but the rooms where very clean and the amenities were absolutely beautiful. From two different ocean front restaurants, two pools, outdoor fire pits, hammocks and a stunning view we really could not complain. When we first arrived they had us on the first floor which was kind of cool because we could literally just walk right onto the beach and the bar was right next to our room. So when the kids went to bed we totally snuck out for a quick drink at the bar…It was AMAZING lol. BUT that is NOT what I paid for although it was kind of cool. I did not get my ocean view I paid for so the next night the resort gave us a true ocean front room that was bigger and took off our daily resort fee which was so incredible of them.

So overall it was a great experience and I felt like the resort really made an effort to make our stay incredible. So my biggest tip when booking with Sirata make sure ahead of time you get a true ocean view or if you like the idea of being near the bar you can ask for that as well. Both amazing options on a stunning beach.

Epperson Lagoon

July 31, 2019

Lagoon Life!

Blake and I just bought a house in St Johns FL with a massive 14 acre man made lagoon. So, when we found out there was another one in Tampa…we just had to stop and take a peek. This community and lagoon are truly going to create life long memories. If you live in the area or driving through, this community does sell day tickets to non residence where as the on in St Johns Fl is private to residence only. The tickets are $20 a person and the other attractions are not included and sold separately. Meaning the water slides, kayaks, and water obstacle course are all extra and you have to be at least 6 years old to join in on the fun. My opinion, the water slide is TOTALLY WORTH IT. Extra $10 and you get to slide down that slide ALL day long. It’s FAST & FUN!

Huge Shout Out To Biscayne Homes for showing us around and giving us a grand tour!

Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center

Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center

By far one of the kids favorite places to stay in Orlando FL.

Save your money & skip the theme parks! Our kids begged us to stay a few more day at the Gaylord Palms and honestly we had the most fun just spending the day at the pool! When you book your rooms make sure to book an extra day where you can just enjoy everything Gaylord Palms has to offer.

TOP 10 Reasons Why We Loved Our Stay.

  1. My 10 year old LOVED the thrilling drop slides

  2. My husband and son had a blast of the FlowRider! $20 a per person for 30mins worth every penny!!!!

  3. My 5 year old loved all the family games and prizes. Like hula-hoop, water balloon toss and more.

  4. My 2 year old loved the sprayers and waterslides. Seriously there is something for everyone.

  5. Transportation to ALL Disney Parks!

  6. The Staff was extremally helpful and kind. Rooms were super clean!

  7. Arcade Room, perfect on those raining afternoons

  8. The DJ at the pool! So many fun memories where created while we danced & played in the pool.

  9. Starbucks Coffee right there. So nice to get good coffee without having to leave the resort

  10. There were several restaurants to pick from so you never had to leave the resort!

We would give 5 out of 5 Stars!

Universal Volcano Bay

July 28, 2019

Is It Worth It?

Theme parks are never cheap especially with a large family. So was Volcano Bay worth it?

Well we are a family of 5 with a 10, 5 & 2 year old. It can be tough finding a place where EVERYONE will have a good time. At Volcano Bay there is defiantly something for everyone at every age.
